Rotec Panther ultralight, ultra lite aircraft, amateur built, experimental, homebuilt aircraft.

The Rotec Rally Panther was introduced in both a single and a two place in 1984. The Panther series of aircraft are taildragger's, with a high wing, enclosed cockpit, strut braced in a pusher configuration.

Seating is tandem on the two place. Controls used a center mounted stick(s) using a yoke and rudder pedal(s), with a left hand throttle. Construction is bolt together aluminum tubes covered in dacron sail cloth, with a fiberglass nose pod.

The Panther series uses a shock absorber suspension system on the two main wheels and bungee cord suspension on the tail wheel.

The Rotax liquid cooled engine is mounted above the wing.

Initially the Panther's were introduced with spoilers, but soon were being built with ailerons. The cockpit came with doors that could be removed for summer operation.
