KITFOX
SERVICE LETTER #4
SUBJECT:
SPINNER
TO:
ALL KITFOX OWNERS
FROM:
DENNEY AEROCRAFT COMPANY
SPINNER:
Some builders have experienced problems with their spinner. The
rear bulkhead developed cracks which when left unattended caused the
spinner to come off in flight. While we research the problem we recommend
that all spinners be removed. The KITFOX can be flown without the spinner.
While it may not be as aesthetically pleasing, it will be safer to fly
without the spinner. We have not experienced any problem on the prototype
with over 300 hours on it. We will keep you informed of any changes or
modifications.
