The MZ35i is an electronic fuel injection single-cylinder engine. Its long, narrow shape is specially designed for mounting on powered gliders with retractable engine (Silent).

The cylinder is made of aluminium alloy coated with Nikasil to ensure low weight and a virtually unlimited lifespan.

The ignition and injection systems are controlled by the electronic control unit which contains the maps for correcting the spark advance and injection in real time. The MZ35i engine weighs 10.5 kg complete with electric ignition and automatic decompression device.

The electronic control unit also monitors atmospheric pressure, engine temperature and air temperature so as to constantly optimize engine efficiency, resulting in very reduced fuel consumption and constant power availability.

The exhaust pipe weighs 1.5 kg complete with manifold This engine is supplied complete with reduction drive, electric starter, automatic decompression valve, battery and exhaust.

Fuel metering: Electronic Fuel injection.
Lubrication: Fully synthetic oil, pre-mixed 50:1 in fuel. (unleaded mogas)
Output power: 31 Hp@ 6450 RPM
Weight: 12 Kgs. Complete with all ancillaries, including exhaust, starter and battery.
Guarantee: One year or 200 hours running time.
Time before overhaul: 500 hours running time. (to be increased)
Time between de-cokes: Due to high efficiency, this engine should not normally require de-coking.
