Doodle Bug powered hang glider.

Flylight Airsports Limited has crossed the pond to introduce the Doodle Bug to the North American market. The Doodle Bug turns a hang glider into the  "the ultimate minimum flying machine," This makes those long expensive trips to mountain sites a thing of the past. With the Doodle Bug's ability to take of in less than 100 feet, trips to the clouds can be accomplished from just about anywhere!

The Doodle Bug is a power unit and "cockpit" that can bolt up to just about any hang glider, to make it powered. Power is supplied by a 120 cc Radne Raket  two stroke engine producing 14 hp, Total weight for harness and power pack is 21 kilos , according to the factory when you deduct the weight of the original flying harness from the weight the additional weight is actually only 14 kilos.

One of the unique features of the Doodle Bug is the pilot is able to "sit" in the harness, similar to that of a trike pilot, for comfort. The unit also has a set of "retractable legs" which once airborne tuck up under the fuselage. Two types of propellers are also available the standard fixed pitch prop and a folding unit for those seeking all out performance.
