Propeller  protection for ultralights and ultralight aircraft. IVOPROP: One of the most innovative propeller designs for ultralight aircraft, weight shift trikes and powered parachutes. The IVOPROP is available in several different models depending on the horsepower of the engine. Here we will be talking about the version that is used on ultralight aircraft. If you are using a Rotax or HKS engine make sure you calculate the Mass weight inertia of your prop - or call IVOPROP for their recommendation on your particular aircraft and engine / gearbox combination. There are a couple of very critical points when using an IVOPROP. 1. The prop is NOT recommended for direct drive engines. 2. In some pusher applications an extension hub will be required for the prop to clear the trailing edge of the wing. 3. During installation the installer MUST follow the instructions on how to install the prop! Especially the proper torque values and the re-torquing of the prop after run in. 4.  Do not use prop in 2-blade configuration without blade blocks (missing pieces of pie, which fill out the big gaps between the blades.) 5. The PROP MOVEMENT tape supplied with each propeller must be installed as indicated on the installation instructions.

The IVOPROP is available in several different models depending on the horsepower of the engine. Here is a correct installation of the prop movement tape on an IVOPROP.
