Propeller  protection for ultralights and ultralight aircraft. If you have just refueled your plane especially in an aircraft with wing tanks check to make sure you have replaced and tightened down the gas cap. Where possible attach a retaining strap to the cap. If you are flying on a 532/582/618 Rotax engine use safety wire to secure the rotary valve oil tank cap, and the oil reservoir tank. If flying on an engine with an oil tank check to make sure the cap is secure and where possible safety wire it. Also make sure your radiator cap tight and where possible attach a retaining strap

Where possible attach a retaining strap to the cap. Not only is it likely to damage your prop if it comes off but a new cap is also quite expensive. If flying on an engine with an oil tank check to make sure the cap is secure and where possible safety wire it.Also make sure your radiator cap tight and where possible attach a retaining strap Otherwise it might go through your propeller.
