Ultralight engines, ultralight aircraft accessories, ultralight aircraft at Airventure.

Well I made it to Oshkosh with no "adventures," got set up in the "ultralight camping ground" - turned on my generator to charge the batteries on my gimpster and computer, only to be told "generators weren't allowed to be run in the ultralight campgrounds."

So I had to move out, only to find out that no sooner had I left than the rules were changed. Seems some of the commercial vendors also needed generators to charge batteries etc.

Ever notice how I always have to whine about something - before I give you all the good stuff? 

This year I was invited to do a seminar on float flying and had an opportunity to tape some of the other presenters, Chuck from CGS Hawk was one seminar that I will do my best to get over to the site in web video format. It is about an hour long.

Chuck will take you back to the early days of our sport and give you a glimpse of the history and heritage of the "Hawk." If you have never heard him speak, he is quite a colourful character.

Several new or "revamped" ultralight aircraft designs were introduced.
