Fisher Flying Products Celebrity

The Celebrity

The Celebrity introduced in 1990 is all wood construction, covered in standard aircraft covering materials. The plane is a tail dragger, biplane in a tractor configuration.

Empty Weight: 529 lbs.
Gross Weight: 1250 lbs.
Wing Span: 22 ft.
Wing Area: 176 sq. ft.
Engine: 65 to 125 HP
Cruise Speed: 90 m.p.h.
Stall Speed: 40 m.p.h.
VNE: 120 m.p.h.
Construction: Wood/Fabric

Building times for kit construction is about 600 hours. No special tools or knowledge is required. Kit construction is described as " lot like putting a wood model aeroplane kit together." The craft can be built in a single car garage. The Celebrity was designed to handle engines ranging from 65 to 125 HP.

A T.U.F. VIEW
The Celebrity uses standard stick and rudder control, with center mounted sticks. A small windscreen helps keep the bugs out of your teeth. Cruise depending on engine power ranges from 75 to 100 m.p.h., stall is a very comfortable 35.

An experienced pilot should be able to get the plane airborne in about 350 feet. Climb rate at gross is around 600 feet per minute with solo rates exceeding 1,000 feet per minute.

An excellent plane for those who want the nostalgia of a biplane, mixed with the open cockpit, bugs in your teeth type of flying.
