A T.U.F. VIEW
The Ultra-Pup uses the "Preceptor Gold" 4 stroke 65 and 70 VW conversion engine for power. With 70 horses cranked to its limits climb comes in at over 1000 feet per minute, while backing down on power to cruise will bring the airspeed indicator back to 90 m.p.h.. Stall with flaps comes in at around 38. Cabin width is a comfortable 25 inches. Visibility rates a B+, cabin noise B. A great little aircraft, and a great factory.
