TITAN TORNADO 2

The Tornado 11 introduced in 1992 is a tandem seating two place, trigear, in a pusher configuration. The fuselage is welded 4130 chromoly while the wing is all pop riveted aluminum. Building times reported in the 250 to 350 hour range.  The kit includes all required material, components and fasteners. The kit does not include the engine, propeller, and instruments.

The Titan 11 is a rather unique little aeroplane in that it features a cantilever wing (self supporting no struts) and has a very short wing.

Cruise speeds are in the 85/90 m.p.h. range depending on engine while climb rates at gross come in around 900 feet per minute. 

The Titan Tornado combines friendly low speed handling characteristics with agility and high performance. The Tornado 2 is designed to a +6g / -4g load limit capability at 1000 pounds gross weight.

When operating with the rotax 582 engine the cruise speed is in excess of 110 mph. The stall speed in landing configuration flying solo is 35 mph.
