RANS S7 Courier

The S-7 Courier is a tractor powered, tandem seating two place in a tail dragger configuration. Controls are standard stick and rudder with dual throttles. 

The craft features a welded steel fuselage and tail assembly, with aluminum tube

Empty Weight: 690 lbs.
Gross Weight: 1200 lbs.
Wing Span: 29.3  ft.
Wing Area: 147.1  sq. ft.
Engine: 912  Rotax
Cruise Speed: 110  m.p.h.
Stall Speed: 41  m.p.h.
VNE: 130  m.p.h.
Construction: Chromoly steel, aluminum, stits

 ladder construction in the wings, covered in standard aircraft covering materials. The craft has been tested to +6 and -3 G's. Building times range between 700 and 1200 hours. The factory rates an A+ for customer service and quality of kit.  

A T.U.F. VIEW

The S-7 Courier is a neat little aeroplane. It can get in an out of the tightest fields, taking off in less than 150 feet. It climbs out at a respectable 800 feet per minute and cruises all day long at 80 m.p.h.. Stall with flaps extended is just above 30 m.p.h.. 

Control pressure is very light, pilot comfort rates an A, visibility from the front seat is good while the rear seat is great for filming out with the doors open. Large doors provide easy entrance, and it has a nice baggage area.
